The holidays always seem to creep up on me and I find myself with a forever long to-do list. Here are some ideas to help bust through that to-do list!
I price match at Wal-Mart so that I don’t have to go from store to store which will help save valuable time and you are still getting the lowest price. Thanksgiving and Christmas season provides our lowest prices of the year on many everyday foods and baking items so be sure to stock up!
For Black Friday shopping I find the ads on the spoiler websites and then visit Wal-Mart ahead of time to see if they have the exact same item so I can just price match it. This saves me time in that I know exactly where the item is in the store and that I don’t have to wait in a line early in the morning to get into the store.
Do not underestimate the power of ideas on Pinterest. I have done and received so many wonderful projects for gifts. If you can find an idea that is personalized those ideas are extremely popular.
Make a list of people you need to buy for…I know this sounds simple but sometimes I find myself on a roll with deals and loose track of who I should really be shopping for.
For years my family has done a gift exchange where everyone buys a gift and we draw numbers to pick a gift from the stack. Some of the most memorable moments from our family Christmas’s have been during this exchange. We use $10 as a limit and it is a great way to minimize expense and show some creativity.
Get creative, use your time wisely and most of all relax and enjoy the holidays!
